Sudan civil war (SAF-RSF)
War between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces since April 2023. After the RSF took El Fasher in October 2025, fighting centres on Kordofan and Blue Nile, with heavy drone use by both sides. A US-backed 90-day truce proposal was rejected by the army leadership in September 2026. Sudan is the world's largest displacement crisis.
