Central African Republic conflict
Government forces, supported by Russian personnel and the UN mission MINUSCA, face armed groups across the country. A 2025 deal led the UPC and 3R groups to dissolve and begin disarming, and President Touadera won a third term in December 2025. Violence persists, including cross-border attacks from Sudan such as the June 2026 raid on Am-Dafock.
